Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to ensure that every child—no matter their circumstances—receives the care, education, and support they need to grow strong, stay well, and live fully.
Founder
I’m Kamila Lickunas, founder of Care4KidsNow. I started this initiative with a simple idea: make health education fun, hands-on, and accessible for underserved kids. My passion for this work began after going through my own medical hardship — an experience that opened my eyes to how powerful early knowledge and understanding can be. It sparked my interest in medicine and inspired me to give back to children who may not always have access to those resources.
Today, with a dedicated team and chapters across multiple states, we lead interactive learning sessions that bring health topics to life. One of our favorite activities is using Play-Doh organ-system kits, which allow children to build and explore how their bodies work in a creative, tactile way. I also design easy-to-understand pamphlets that explain health concepts in a friendly, visual format. And whenever possible, I make our workshops holiday-themed, turning them into exciting experiences kids look forward to.
Through these tools and activities, my goal is to spark early interest in medicine and empower children with foundational health knowledge.
