Empowering Children for a Brighter Future

I’m Kamila Lickunas, founder of Care4KidsNow. This initiative began with a simple idea: make health education fun, hands-on, and accessible for underserved kids. My passion for this work grew after navigating my own medical challenges — an experience that reshaped how I see access to health knowledge and the impact of early understanding. It sparked my interest in medicine and inspired me to give back to children who may not always have the same resources.

Today, alongside a dedicated student-driven team, we lead interactive workshops that bring health topics to life, with student-led chapters in 5+ states and expanding. One of our favorite activities is our Play-Doh organ-system kits, where kids build and explore how their bodies work in a creative, tactile way. I also design visual pamphlets that explain health concepts simply and warmly. Whenever possible, our workshops become holiday-themed, turning learning into something memorable and exciting — experiences kids genuinely look forward to.

Through every tool we build and session we run, our goal stays the same: spark early curiosity in medicine and empower young learners with foundational health knowledge.
